PEA Cream Plus

I apply Pea Cream plus, twice daily. It does help in lessoning the pain I have with osteoarthritus at the base of my spine.

Hello, within the last month I ordered your PEA Cream Plus for arthritic knee pain through Amazon.com. For whatever reason, Amazon’s platform is not allowing me to submit a review so I am doing so directly to you. Upon recommendation from an article in a dance magazine (I am formerly with Boston Ballet), I used your cream in conjunction with cannabinoid oil. The relief was immediate, even before I had finished applying the products. I tried each on its own, as well; effective, but less so than when I use them together. I will begin knee replacement surgeries in January and will continue using your cream with the oil until they are no longer necessary. I have already recommended both to a friend who is a flight attendant. He is experiencing equally beneficial effects. Thank you (!), Stephanie Bowens

Knowing nothing about Kawakawa, I had to do some research about it. Here is an excerpt from an article that best described what I learned: What are the health benefits of kawakawa and what is it most commonly used for? Kawakawa has been used in traditional rongoā māori for centuries. Kawakawa leaves contain a component called myristicin which helps trigger the release of nitric oxcide from cells. The release of nitric oxcide is the bodys’ anti-inflammatory response which means kawakawa allows aids the body in responding to inflammation. What this means is that the plant is generally soothing and helps with reduction of blemishes, rashes and skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. The anti-inflammatory response can be so strong that it actually produces a numbing affect which is why the leaves can be chewed to relieve toothache. Along with the kawakawa, this balm contains several essential oils that I use and olive oil, among other things. Looking through the other ingredients, and there are several, including palmitoylethanolamide, which is known to have analgesic properties. Hence the name Pea Cream, from the palmitoylethanolamide. All of the above makes sense to me because when I use this balm is calms down a sore spot on my shoulder. It does not heal the area, but it does allow the muscles around it to not be at the forefront of my mind. The container is small at only 1.8 ounces but it does only take a tiny bit to massage into a sore area.

I suffer from chronic joint pain and wanted to try out a product that would not have an overpowering menthol smell, the Plantonin cream does a good job at calming discomfort and although it has a noticeable peppermint scent, it is much milder than other similar balms that I have tried. It contains arnica, a good ingredient to help in repairing damaged blood vessels. The cream spreads and absorbs well without leaving a sticky residue on the surface of the skin as it has more of a creamy than oily consistency. However, this cream will not help relieve strong pain or discomfort due to injury or more serious muscle/ joint issues.

This arrived seemingly at the appropriate time as I had strained my back a day before it arrived. I've applied it only twice during the day and it takes a bit for it to take effect, but once it has it is effective in reducing the pain. It reduces the inflammation somewhat as well. It absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue. I can't say that the scent is offensive; it's really subtle once absorbed. I'm impressed with the product so far.

I have lower back pain and found that PEA Cream together with PEA capsules works well. I have been using PEA capsules for approx six months and decided to try PEA Cream. I found when rubbing it onto the affected area the skin absorbs the cream and reduces inflammation. It helps reduce my mild pain. Also the peppermint smell is nice. Too early to say if the cream works long term. Will update review after using cream for three months.
